Another significant characteristic is lightweight flexibility combined with high strength. Compared to traditional building materials, PVC membrane fabric is much lighter, enabling innovative architectural forms such as curved, tensile, and free-form structures. At the same time, it can span large areas without the need for heavy support systems, making it ideal for modern architectural applications.
Fire safety is also an important consideration. Many PVC Membrane structure fabrics can be manufactured with flame-retardant properties, meeting standards such as B1, M1, or NFPA classifications. This enhances safety in public installations such as sports venues, transportation hubs, and commercial complexes.
From an application perspective, 1050GSM PVC membrane fabric is widely used in stadium roofing, airport canopies, exhibition halls, parking structures, landscape architecture, and large-scale shading systems. Its ability to combine strength, flexibility, and visual appeal makes it a preferred material in modern tensile architecture.
